The Library accepts donations as long as the material covers the subjects that are treated by the NTUA.
If the books are up to ten in number and relevant to the thematic categories covered by the NTUA, the Library may accept them, provided that there is no excessive number of specific copies already in the collections. The donor can bring them directly to the Library. Upon receipt, it completes a form and declares that it grants the right to the Library to manage the donation material as it sees fit.
For a larger donation, the Library Committee is responsible for its evaluation. For this purpose, the donor is obliged to send to the library a list of the material which must contain the following information: the author’s name, the title, and the year of publication After a review, a proposal will be submitted to the Library Committee which will decide whether to accept the donation or not. The library will disclose to the donor the decision of the Committee.
In case of acceptance, the transport costs are borne by the donor.
