The Information literacy (IL) workshops offered by the Central Library of NTUA, aim to provide students with the necessary competences for the proper use of the available information resources and the services provided by the library. Furthermore, the (IL) workshops aim to prepare the Institution’s undergraduate and post-graduate students in order to manage and evaluate the vast volume of information they are exposed to. Finally, the workshops aim to teach the students how to prepare an individual or group paper within a particular class, and how to work on their final thesis or dissertation.
The IL workshops are available to all NTUA members who wish to acquire knowledge or skills in relation to areas of scientific information search and evaluation of information sources, ethics-ethical use of information-copyright – plagiarism, collection and promotion of publications, etc.
